He also ran the most distance of any player on the pitch… 10.8km! Shocked, I tell you (not!)
So… with the news that Usain Bolt is going to be taking part in Soccer Aid for UNICEF this year, my little fangirl heart is praying it might be an (extra) incentive for Tom to also take part. Just imagine, we could get Tom warming up and *coughs* s t r e t c h i n g out his muscles (in shorts). We could get Tom (in shorts) fanboying over his running idol… We might even get Tom - did I mention the shorts?! - in a playful race against Bolt…

I mostly meant competitive, fangirling Tom. Fangirling, muddy Tom running. Apologising over and over and over again when he (absolutely on purpose) accidentally fouls someone.
I’m just putting Tom + UNICEF + Usain Bolt + Soccer Aid together because Tom is of course a UNICEF ambassador, is slightly obsessed with Usain Bolt, and recorded a thank you message for donations to the last Soccer Aid back in 2016… Oh and his most recent project, Early Man, involves football. But rugby was more his sport growing up…
